CR FOCO is a safe place to find freedom from your hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

What to expect

Your First Meeting, Step By Step

Walking in for the first time can feel daunting. Here's what a typical evening looks like, so there are no surprises.

1

Large Group

We start together with worship, a short teaching or a personal testimony. You're welcome to simply sit, listen, and take it all in.

2

Open Share Groups

Next, we break into smaller, gender-specific groups. What's said here stays here. No advice, no fixing, just honest sharing. Talking is optional.

3

Fellowship

We wrap up with coffee, snacks, and conversation. It's a relaxed time to meet people who understand and to start building real friendships.

Stories of hope

—John, attendee
"The small group gave me a place to be honest for the first time in years. That honesty changed everything."
—Jane, attendee
"I came for my habits and stayed for the people. This is where I found freedom and a family."
—Ginny, attendee

FAQ

Questions you might have

Do I need to sign up?

Nope. Just show up on a Tuesday at 6:30 PM at LOVE FOCO Resource Center, 1213 Riverside Ave. If you'd like someone to meet you at the door on your first night, reach out ahead of time and we'll be watching for you.

Do I have to talk?

Many people simply listen for their first few weeks, and that's completely okay. You can share when you're ready, or not at all.

Is it confidential?

Yes. What's said in the group stays in the group. We don't give advice or try to fix each other. We just listen.

Do I have to be a Christian?

No. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step program, and you'll hear about faith during the evening, but everyone is welcome, wherever you are on your spiritual journey.

Is this only for drug or alcohol addiction?

Not at all. Substance use is just one of many struggles people bring. Others come for grief, anger, anxiety, codependency, porn, painful relationships, or something they can't quite name yet. If you're carrying a hurt, habit, or hang-up, you belong here.

What does it cost?

Celebrate Recovery is free. Donations are accepted, but there's never any pressure to give.
